Anorex

Anorex

Anorex is an active product that apparently gives you weight loss results with an “extremely powerful anorectic agent and is not intended for use by the casual dieter who is merely attempting to shed five or ten “vanity” pounds.” Intimidating right? It is meant to sound that way. This product has also been sold under the name of Leptopril, which makes things a bit interesting to say the least.

Price: $163.00

Ingredients and Mechanism of Action:

Anorex ingredients include ma huang, caffeine, kola nut, green tea, l-tyrosine, and kelp. In case you are unfamiliar with all the names, ma huang is another name for ephedrine. Ephedrine is a dangerous substance that was banned after actually causing several serious deaths along with serious side effects among quite a few. It was reintroduced to the market later on, but only in small amounts meant mostly to actually be used for the treatment of asthma. However, you can read more about ephedra here: http://altmedicine.about.com/cs/allergiesasthma/a/Ephedra.htm. This says enough about them, but their other ingredients are useless as ephedra is in the amounts that are now allowed, and they use only small amounts.

Overall Impression of Anorex

Anorex does not provide weight loss results that you are actually looking for. It doesn’t help you to burn more fat or otherwise lose more weight. It just has the claims, and the fact that they try to sell it under two different names to make twice the profit doesn’t bode well. It is just another way of telling you that this product doesn’t actually work and doesn’t actually produce greater results.
