Instead it claims that it can help you lose weight by attacking 6 different components of weight gain. It contains 6 different formulas. The formulas are specifically formulated to provide energy, thyroid support, appetite control, fat blockers, carb blockers, and metabolism boosters. We were interested to see how this product marketed itself because the FTC has cracked down on several other products that claimed they could block fat or carbs. So can this product actually follow through with those claims unlike so many others on the market?

Ingredients and Mechanism of Action:
Advalean ingredients include 6 different formulas. Each formula has a different mix of ingredients. Some of these ingredients include: Green tea, Alpha Lipoic Acid, Ginsing, Yerba Mate, Blatter Whack, Garcinina Cambogia, Hoodia Gordonii, Chitosan, Vitamin C, Vitamin B6, and 5-Hydroxy Trytophan.
The only blend that we really found effective was the Metabolism blend and the energy blend. The metabolism blend contains green tea which has been shown to increase metabolism. The energy blend also contains several natural sources of caffeine. We‘re not really sure that this has enough of each ingredient because they are in blends so they don’t tell the exact amount of each ingredient.
Overall Impression of Advalean
We wouldn’t recommend this product for weight loss. Due to the caffeine, and metabolism boosters it may give you minimal results. However, keep in mind that there are cheaper products that can do this same thing. They may actually give the same results in a safer way though. This product contains Hoodia Gordonii which has been known to cause several adverse side effects. So before buying this product we just caution you to take a close look at the possible side effects.
