Adipex-P is a prescription form of prescription Phentermine. It uses about 37.5mg of Phentermine, and they claim that Adipex-P can help you to lose weight and achieve better results than ever before. With Adipex-P, you will actually get results through this mechanism of action. For a few weeks at a time, Adipex-P actually works to suppress appetite. It works by stimulating the central nervous system, and ultimately speaking this can help you to achieve certain results. However, realistically speaking, after a few weeks it has been known to suddenly stop working.
And with it being a prescription and all, Adipex-P has been associated with side effects such as heart problems, psychosis, and otherwise, and it never should have been on any market, let alone the uncontrolled over the counter market. This being said, Phentermine or Adipex alone has been associated with allergies, insomnia, hypertension, irritability, nervousness, euphoria, dry mouth, unpleasant taste, blurred vision, heartburn/acid reflux, change in libido, clumsiness, confusion, diarrhea, dizziness, headaches, arrhythmias, nausea, vomiting, psychosis, skin rash or itching, stomach pain, fatigue, pupil dilation, convulsions, seizures, dizziness, fever, hallucinations, hostility with urge to attack, irregular blood pressure, periods of mania followed by depression, lightheadedness, fainting, overactive reflexes, tremors, trembling, restlessness, severe nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach cramps, and weaknesses.
Technically speaking, Adipex-P was banned considering the fact that realistically speaking, it was half of the popular fen-phen. It was banned for the side effects actually named above and death in some cases. However, with all of this in mind, Adipex-P does not promote results without risks to say the least, and we would definitely recommend that even though it can work, that you find something else.
